Vehicle Disposal

Much of what we do involves the supply of late cars and vans and to enable us to do this we purchase lots of vehicles. Although the majority of these vehicles come from our work with insurance companies we would always consider vehicles from private individuals. For more information please call on 01761 452 177.

We are firm believers in recycling and to that end may be interested in any vehicles, generators or other industrial machinery, so before you throw it away give us a call. 

We can often collect from any where in the UK.

Although we do buy vehicles for resale we would also be very interested in non-runners, accident damaged or insurance write offs.

Please don’t hesitate to call if you have anything to dispose of, we will consider most things.

We have customers both in the UK and worldwide for most types of vans and van parts.

The current law requires that end of life vehicles that are being disposed of must be presented to an Authorised Treatment Facility in order that the Registration document can be surrendered and the vehicle can be officially registered as Scrapped. This is vital to the last registered keeper as it is absolute assurance that you wont get any more tax demands or SORN notice reminders from DVLA.

If you have an end of life vehicle you can be sure that United Vans will do all the relevant paperwork when we dispose of it for you. 

We can collect end of life vehicles.  Please be aware that as the cost of recyclable steel fluctuates so much we may need to charge a collection fee.
